Meet our founding partner

Cornel Rasanga Amoth, EGH

With over three decades of distinguished public service and legal practice, Cornel Rasanga Amoth, EGH brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and integrity to Rasanga Amoth & Co. Advocates. As the Founding and Managing Partner, he leads the firm with a clear vision of delivering precise, ethical, and solution-driven legal services, with a strong focus on conveyancing and real estate law, the firm’s core practice area.
Mr. Rasanga has over 18 years of post-admission legal practice and more than 38 years of cumulative experience in governance, procurement, law, and administration. His career spans senior roles in both the public and private sectors, culminating in two successful terms as the 1st Governor of Siaya County (2013–2022), where he championed good governance, institutional reform, and infrastructure development.
He is widely respected for his pioneering role as the first Secretary to the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board (PPARB), where he helped establish Kenya’s modern procurement dispute resolution framework. His expertise in public procurement, administrative law, and dispute resolution is deeply embedded in the firm’s approach. As a legal strategist and mentor, Mr. Rasanga is known for his analytical depth, procedural clarity, and commitment to justice and the rule of law.
